We are a family business run by Ian & Verma, a husband and wife team who have both been keen photographers since they were kids.
Ian specialises in real estate, industrial, nature and underwater photography & video..
Originally from Wales (UK) Ian’s exposure to photography started at the age of 6 when his father started teaching him photography, igniting a lifelong passion. Ian has a passion for both art and science but he concentrated on science studying Engineering at university, he continued his passion for art in his spare time in the university’s arts centre where he learned traditional black & white darkroom photography and video editing.
Ian exhibited twice in photography at university and later won several prizes in international photography competitions, he also exhibited a short film at an international underwater film festival. Ian is a PADI Licensed Scuba instructor with specialty instructor qualifications in underwater photography and underwater video.
In his work as a Chartered Engineer Ian made extensive use of photography as a forensic engineering tool to solve engineering investigations. His industrial photography has also been commissioned by several international companies / bodies in USA, Malaysia and Australia.
Ian worked in industry for 20 years but last year made the jump to his arts side moving into photography full time working in industrial & commercial photography and now real estate.
Ian is a CASA licensed drone pilot and looks forward to growing the video, drone and 3D imaging side of real estate photography combining his passion for art and technology.
Passionate about the sea in his spare time Ian volunteers as a senior crewman with Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue in Perth's Northern suburbs. Ian supplied 95% of the photography for their 2016 calender pro bono.
Ian sees real estate photography as helping to showcase houses so that the right buyer can meet the right house. He feels he is part of the seller's "team" and feels a real buzz when one of the houses he photographed sells (especially when it sells quickle e.g. recently one sold in 3 days!).
