I started my professional TV career in 1995 after completing my education in Visual Arts at the South African Film School. Working for a big Sports brand Supersport producing "Promo's".
In 1997 I left for the USA and worked with Camp TV shooting video yearbooks during the summer school holidays in Maine. Afterwards, I moved to Los Angeles where I worked on several films and TV sets, grip, PA, sound engineer, and several other roles.
Back in South Africa in 1999, I completed a Diploma course in print and design.
As a freelancer in the following years, I was the Senior Director for Big Brother South Africa 1 & 2 for Endemol Productions. I also spent several years as Senior Editor working for Urban Brew Studios. I also designed, wrote, Produced, Directed and edited a very successful Sports Wrestling show for the South African domestic market.
Afterwards, I created a Motorcycles Lifestyle show combining my involvement in Motorcycle racing with my passion for TV.
In 2011 I migrated to New Zealand and started shooting action photo's around the New Zealand racetracks as a freelance photographer. I also headed up Production for TV Central till 2014 when this small Matamata regional station closed down.
My career took to the skies as I chased my aviation dreams and am a qualified pilot.
Covid brought many things to a halt and I looked for an opportunity to combine my love of visual art and aviation. Drone videos and Photography seemed a great combination and before I knew it I was shooting Real Estate photos and videos with the amazing Waikato Open2View team.
